As of March 2016, according to the United Nations Population Fund, the human population has grown from 1.6 billion and could increase to 6.1 billion over the course of the 20th century . The problem in the sense that we the people are the reason why climate change occurs due to the emission of vast greenhouse gases from human industrial activities such as those of those powerful countries that consume fossil fuel production.
