Enrique is now unemployed and, even worse, he's back on drugs. Lourdes helped Enrique and Maria Isabel by allowing them to move into her house. When Enrique went to live in Lourdes, he reduced his drug use, but did not stop completely. Lourdes reminds Enrique of his daughter, Jasmin, for whom he should be a role model. He also tells Enrique that he could lose Maria Isabel at any time in his life if he doesn't stop taking drugs. Yet they still love each other. They don't resent each other
