Lincoln Rhyme, former head of the Central Investigations and Resources Division, is convinced by Lon Selitto and his partner to help investigate the kidnapping. Meanwhile the "Bone Collector" kidnaps another victim.3. Being a quadriplegic, a person paralyzed from the beginning, Lincoln Rhyme wants to commit suicide. He hires Dr. Berger to help him with suicide.4. Rhyme assembles his forensic team to begin the investigation. On the team, he assigned Amelia Sachs, Mel Cooper, Lon Selitto and Jerry Banks to the case. When the investigation begins, the bone collector is torturing his prisoner.5. Considering the clues left from the scene, Rhyme figures out the whereabouts of the prisoner, known as TJ Colfax. He sends Sachs to the scene before TJ meets his fate. But when it arrives, it's too late. Colfax is found boiled to death by hot steam blown into her face. During this horrific ordeal, Rhyme, calmer than ever, forces Sachs to carry out his first crime scene investigation. Find more clues left by the bone collector.6.
