IntroductionSouth Africa is a nation that has gone through many things/challenges that have cost many families suffering and left them in pain while having many unanswered questions. It can be said that despite all the efforts put into practice over the last 20 years to change the way South Africa was during apartheid, nothing seems to work, it is clear to me that the past still exists in some way in some parts of the areas within our country. society, a number of South Africans who have not yet understood that they have lost loved ones due to racial discrimination and other challenges they have faced in the past, affects the new generation as it constitutes a trauma that is truly destroying the bright future that is expected of these young people. Is South Africa a sick society? According to Jonathan Jansen, South Africa is a sick society because black people still believe they are victims of superiors and oppressors who happen to be white, where some measures have been put in place to try to help them get on with life and heal, which is indeed a big challenge as they are still with the past which poses a threat to the new generation who can observe the violence and aggressive behavior shown by adults who should be role models for the youth to ensure that our country becomes a place better for everyone. I believe that today's youth are so aggressive because of events in the past that have left them with unbearable sorrows and pain, as well as the loss of their loved ones. I believe that there are some things that need to be paid the utmost attention to before we can even begin to talk about how to proceed towards the transformation of who... middle of paper... the reason why dealing with this requires more effectively is because these are some things that most of our parents refuse to talk about since they say that in the minutes that they engage in talking about it they bring up some old wounds that are better left as well as they say that talking about it won't bring their things back. ConclusionSouth Africa as a whole must work together to build a nation that is violent, free and unified, where racial discrimination is not as high as it is at present, but rather one is not afraid to go and ask one's neighbors for food when hunger strikes . . We as a nation must try to work together to overcome what has happened in the past and lift each other up without any bitterness and we truly believe that if we are united no one can stand in our way, just like the ANC slogan says that " together we can do more but I can't do it alone”
