In a newspaper article written by Stan Bippus, he informs the reader: "Grades given to the bottom 80 percent of students in a school are inaccurate and full of beliefs and opinions teachers' personal grades." (proquest.com, diary 2). Because of this bias within the system, students suffer at the hands of individuals who are supposed to teach them. The education system at this point becomes one of flawed principles and nature, all because a student's success is based on a letter put on paper. Even in the case of this journal entry, author Bippus seems to believe that the system is not well run at all due to the skewed grades given by these teachers and professors.
