Imagine that you are in a world other than earth, the time is different and all living things around you can talk. While you are in this world you will experience the most incredible adventure you could ever imagine. This is exactly what happens in the novel The Silver Chair. It's an action-packed book that makes you want to read it all the way through. The author of the novel The Silver Chair is C.S. Lewis. The most famous novels written by C.S. Lewis are The Chronicles of Narnia, which consists of seven novels. This story takes place in the present time. The adventure in Narnia that these children experience lasts about 12 days, however on earth it is as if I had never left because in Narnia the time is different. The main characters in this story are: Jill Pole, Eustace Scrubb, Puddleglum, Aslan, Prince Rilian and the Queen of Underworld. Jill Pole is a weak girl who is picked on at the Experiment House who meets an unpopular boy named Eustace Scrubb, and the two of them travel to the magical world of Narnia. Here they meet Aslan, lord of all the forest and son of the overseas emperor. Aslan is the Lion, the Great Lion. He comes and goes as and when he wants; comes to help guide Jill and Eustace on their great adventure. They also receive help on their journeys from a Marsh-wiggle called Puddleglum, who helps guide the children as they are unfamiliar with this world. Prince Rilian disappeared while riding his horse in the woods about 10 years ago. The Queen of the Underworld is an evil witch who later becomes the "White Witch" and, as usual, is up to no good. This story begins in the children's school, otherwise called The Experiment House, where Jill and Eustace meet. . They are both unpopular kids who were hiding behind the gym from the other kids when they remembered the door in the wall surrounding the school. Although the door is usually locked, they hoped it would be unlocked, and so it was. They hurriedly crossed it to discover that they were in a completely different place. Looking around, Eustace realizes that they are in Narnia. When they watch from a cliff, Eustace, with his stupid courage, falls and is knocked to the ground by the largest lion Jill had ever seen..
