For example, Unilever Ltd and Lindum Group. The Purpose: Most business organizations are run to make a profit by providing goods or services. It is the fundamental purpose of a business organization. But depending on the type of organization, the goals may differ slightly. Here I have considered three main types of business organizations and their purposes. Public Sector Organizations: These types of business organizations are run and managed by the government (Tutor2u.net, 2013). Different types of taxes collected from the people are the main sources of funding for public organizations. These organizations are not profit oriented. The basic purposes are: To provide essential public services such as schools, hospitals, etc. To ensure mass welfare. To protect the country from enemies. To increase industrial development. To ensure regular supply of necessary products. The private sector organization : A business organization owned and operated by a private individual is called a private sector organization (Daft and Kendrick et al., 2010). This sector includes sole proprietorship, partnership, franchise, limited liability company, joint stock company, etc. In this section I have selected two organizations and presented their purposes.
