I also try to talk to as many cardiologists as I can talk to to ask them for some advice on what step to take. The most important step I took was trying to build a solid foundation in math and science. The reason I try to make these two fields my strongest is because they are used in all the classes I will have to take for my major. They will also be used every day as a cardiologist because I should be able to prescribe drugs to my patients and also know the side effects. In these subjects I also took the more difficult classes such as AP Biology and AP Statistics. These classes have challenged me to work harder than the average student and to have a better balance system when it comes to juggling classes and other activities. Not only have I been focusing on juggling in all my classes, I got a job because I'll be working in college and I feel like if I start practicing now it will help me too. The job I got was working in a clinic, this is helping me prepare for my career because eventually I want to open my own private practice and being in a clinical environment I will have the experiences
