I started reading for fun. I went to the library more to get a book that looked interesting. I started the Hunger Games series and found myself hooked. It was the first series I read in the space of two weeks. Weeks before, reading anything was a chore, taking up to three weeks to just read about the book. But with my sister's help, I pushed myself based on what my sister did, I found it got easier and easier. I started to love reading. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would actually enjoy reading words in a book. Not only did reading help my grades go up significantly, but I found something I enjoyed doing, it also made it much easier to finish reading textbooks or books assigned at school. My attitude towards reading was no longer bitter, I found that reading was my escape from the world
