Phase 2It was a corridor. The floor and walls were light brown, the ceiling was padded with white, and an occasional light stood in for a spot. There were also dark brown shiny doors inside the hallway, and one at the end. I didn't see any numbers on the doors, they weren't all assigned. I turn to look behind me, only to see that the elevator was no longer there, just a light brown wall. I didn't remember ever getting out of the elevator. Unless he did it without knowing... I groan, feeling pissed off. With nowhere else to go, I head towards the first door. I try to turn the knob, only to find that it doesn't turn all the way. Blocked. What did I expect? No way would this place allow me to waltz inside a room. I'm going to try the other door, which is symmetrical to the one I just tried. The handle turns and the door creaks open. There was nothing behind it. Only black. I almost go inside before my brain clicks that I can't go on. Like the last time I tried to get off the road, I can't. I close the door and turn towards the other doors. In any case, I have nothing better to do. About four doors later, two locked, the other two simply empty and dark. There was one door left, at the end of the corridor. The other doors had been placed against the side, this door however was against the wall symmetrical to where the elevator was located. The handle turns easily, and while I expect there to be black nothingness behind it, instead I find a balcony. It was painted white and hung over the edge. Below was more black nothingness. It looked like I was two stories tall and stuff. I turn around, only to find that the door had closed and the door was no longer a shiny brown but a bright white. The doorknob... in the center of the card... Touch. Faucet. Faucet. Faucet. Tap. It was familiar. Haven't heard that before?Tap.I use the empty driver's seat to help me up and start looking around.Tap.It was a prison bus. Not that I've ever seen one, just the chains and the cage wall were a big clue as to what kind of bus it was.Tap.Luckily, the bus was empty, and the cage door was open too.Tap. When I'm done thinking about how the bus went, I start to remember what happened a few moments ago. Touch. I'm dead, right? Everyone says they're dead too. So how can I be here if I'm dead? Am I just a wandering spirit now? In some kind of limbo? Touch. I need to escape. I can run away, right? God, I wish I had done things differently. Am I here because I deserve it?Tap.I drag myself to one of the seats and sit, thinking deeply.Tap.Tap.Tap.
