In the upper right of the sketch are several tables of white women and men dining. Humor can be found in the depictions of every white character. The first plate shows a man and a woman sitting together drinking beverages from small, fancy cups. The man in this image speaks while pointing to the newspaper which refers to the Rights Bill. Both he and the woman next to him have raised eyebrows and tight, closed lips. If both faces had a headline, the headline would scream “white supremacy.” Sketched above, there is another character that Baldy manipulated to ameliorate the pretentious attitudes of white people. This time there is a single man dining alone at a table. Her face is virtually identical in expression to both the man and woman at the other table. Collectively, all clients have a grand appearance and a narcissistic attitude. To the public, the presentation of white people is entertaining and unrealistic. Baldy deliberately designs white society consistently and unfavorably in an attempt to mock the appearance of white society. Beneath the simple pen marks on newsprint lies a much deeper symbolic meaning. The bald man cares. Baldy cares about injustice, American rights, and the future direction of our country. He demonstrates this through the decision to incorporate
