A controversial but debatable topic is discussed in “Let Them Eat Dog” by Jonathan Safran Foer. The topic is about dog eating and whether or not it is moral and right. This is a question that has two aspects to consider; It's either completely right or completely wrong, there's no in between. The argument for eating dog is presented with the use of ethos, pathos, and logos. Foer makes a number of important arguments about why eating dogs is moral and immoral, ultimately leaving it up to the reader's judgment as to which side to take. Eating pets is a taboo, but the dog is not the only pet. I believe Foer limits himself to dogs to preserve man's best friend point of view. Research from other sites shows that dogs have mental abilities very similar to those of a pig, a cow, and a chicken.
