Violation of the human rights of the Jews during the HolocaustOf all the examples of injustice against the Jews or rather against humanity in history, the Jewish Holocaust must be one of more important. In the period from 1933 to 1945, the Nazis waged a ferocious war against the Jews and other “lesser races”. This war came to a head with the “Final Solution” in 1938. One of the final results of the Final Solution was the horrific concentration and extermination camps in Germany, Poland, and other parts of Nazi-controlled Europe. Nearly 5,933,900 Jews were annihilated during the entire process which was termed by historians as "THE HOLOCAUST". In this process, Polish and Soviet civilians, Slavs, Roma, Soviet prisoners of war and other political and religious opponents of Nazism were also exterminated. This adds the total deaths to somewhere between 11 and 17 million people. Hitler came to power in 1933 with the help of his Nazi Party. Hitler's anti-Jewish campaign began soon after, with the "Nuremberg Laws" introduced in 1935, which defined what it meant to be Jewish by descent. These laws also enforced segregation between Jews and the rest of the public. It was only a vague indication of what the future held for European Jewry. Anti-Jewish aggression continued for years after the passage of the Nuremberg Laws. One of these was the "Aryanization" of Jewish property and business. Jews were progressively expelled from the German economy and their assets were handed over to the German government and public. Other forms of degradation were pogroms. A pogrom is a form of violent riot, a mass attack, approved or condoned by government or military authorities, directed against a particular group, ethnic, religious or otherwise, and c...... middle of paper.. .. ..persecuted in the so-called Doctor Trials led to the creation of the Nuremberg Code to control future trials involving human subjects, a set of research ethics and principles for human experimentation. The Holocaust is one of the most famous events in modern history. The senseless massacre of millions upon millions of innocent people at the hands of Nazi butchers was incited when a man named Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933. The Nazis wreaked terrible death and destruction on Europe in the years that followed, beginning with Aryanization . and ends with the Final Solution in a maniacal plot to exterminate and purify the human race. The Holocaust should be remembered by all as a dark point in modern history. We must remember and draw lessons from the crimes committed against Jews during the Holocaust if we are to avoid similar tragedies in the future.
