Which caused so many problems when going back to school. My first grade teacher, Miss Gray, suggested that my parents hold me back for a school year. My parents were skeptical of his suggestion because it was also his first year of teaching. They looked at and thought about all the pros and cons. Some advantages are that it would give me the chance to relearn how to speak, read and write in English and that I would know the material because it would be reviewed. The downside is that I would be older than the other kids, that I wouldn't be in the same class with my old friends, and many others.
