I think this is important because in this section, their plan to commit the crime has turned from mere words into actions. For this reason, it was very interesting to read as Capote used a lot of detail to describe the characterizations of Perry, Dick, and Clutter's family and left out the details of the actual crime that will be committed in the future. The way Capote uses to describe the events makes the reader form a mental picture and imagine the view. His manner creates a sense of curiosity and suspense in me and leaves me eager to learn more about the story even though I wasn't particularly interested in the book itself. I especially like the various applications of rhetorical strategies, but unfortunately the first section of the novel contained only a small explanation of the events of the crime. As the story continues, the author begins to go into more and more detail about Dick and Perry's personal lives. The author described Dick as an independent man, while Perry has had a hard time
