INTRODUCTION Society's desire for easy and frequent access to various goods and services has led to the research and development of an ever-wider display of such products. Modern societies depend and will always depend on scientific technology to satisfy these needs. There is therefore a need for qualified people with scientific and technological skills and aptitude as people are increasingly dependent on existing and new technologies that are crucial for decision-making and our economic well-being. Technology is a combination of two Greek words “Techne” means art and “Logie” means everything based on reason and logic. Modern technology is the structure of our civilization and shapes our way of life. It has a great impact on society, both positive and negative. Technology has contributed a lot to improving our road and rail transport system, making it simpler and saving time on travel. Space travel became possible thanks to spaceships. It has allowed us to connect with people with ease and made tasks much easier. From laptops to iPhones, the world we live in allows us to communicate with anyone with wireless access with just a couple of mouse clicks. We can text on cell phones, connect to social networking sites, and video chat on Skype with little to no effort. It's truly amazing to see how much technology has advanced and what it allows us to do today. The communication options are endless! Furthermore, technology has brought comforts such as air conditioning and entertainment such as television (movies, sports, news, etc.) into our homes and offices.
