Topic > Analysis of Sexual Permissiveness - 1091

This article describes the potential study of how the social norm of sexual permissiveness hinders the elusive attraction of "playing tough" within genres. This is important in the advancement of social psychology in terms of situational factors that influence gender attractive qualities. This potential study could advance the concept of situational factors sometimes overriding attributional factors when a population has a surplus of marriageable women, leading to a social norm of sexual permissiveness and delayed marriage (Gutentag and Secord, 1983). Hatfield, Walster, Piliavin, and Schmidt (1973) described “playing hard to get” as an attributional quality in that hard-to-get women are more desirable than women who are too eager for an alliance. This article analyzes studies and literature on the impact of elusive attraction, sexual temptations and situational factors that create attraction between the sexes. Examines the elusive phenomenon, when "playing hard to get" increases romantic attraction, sex differences in succumbing to temptation, and the question of sex ratio. Following this examination, it will suggest the need for a study of how the social norm of sexual permissiveness hinders the elusive attraction of “playing hard to get” within genders. Introduction The social norm of sexual permissiveness hinders the elusive attraction of “playing hard to get” within genders and supports the study of social psychology. There are not many studies with this situational relationship with this attribution. This literature review considers studies related to the elusive phenomenon and situational effect of sex ratio. Such studies consider the elusive phenomenon, when “playing hard to get” incr...... half of the paper ......i of the population. Overall, I believe this supports the fact that the situational effect of a surplus of women will hinder the elusive attraction of “playing hard to get” within genres. Conclusion These studies reveal the phenomenon of “playing hard to get,” differences in sexual temptations, how sex ratio influences mate preference, and a possible future study on how the social norm of sexual permissiveness hinders elusive attraction of "playing hard" within genres. There are not many studies on how situational environments influence the elusive “playing hard to get” phenomena. I think that, based on previous research, it will be hypothesized that the situational effect of the social norm of sexual permissiveness of having a surplus of females within a population will cause males to ignore the elusive phenomenon of “playing hard to get obtain”..”
