After listening to what my mother had to say, I feel that when I get older, my physical function may become what identifies me more than my cognitive function. It seems that once your physical ability prevents you from doing what you were once capable of doing, it identifies you more than your cognitive ability. As for my mother, she still has most of her cognitive functions, so this hasn't changed her much over the years. For me, my physical abilities have remained the same for many years, so this hasn't had much of an impact on me. On the other hand, my cognitive capacity has increased over the years, becoming what identifies me most. These two functions will change a person throughout their life, but depending on the age of the person the impact these functions have can change
