He produced various dresses; each with its own unique design. Because it catered to the interests of so many people, Vera began designing more than just wedding dresses. He started making evening dresses. Celebrities quickly began to endorse her products, so much so that Vera began creating accessories and outfits for men too. Its men's collection is called "Black by Vera", while its women's collection is called "White by Vera". Since his clothes are very refined, but at the same time expensive, he decided to create a collection that was very simple, chic and affordable for the vast majority of their audience. Another of his projects was his book. This book was called Vera Wang on Weddings. In this book, Vera talks about how to plan the perfect wedding and how to look like the perfect bride. Family Circumstances Vera's father was the son of a Chinese general while her mother was the daughter of a Chinese politician. His father spoke fluent English. After leaving China after World War II, Vera's mother and father married and lived in New York City. They gave birth to Vera and 18 months later, a boy named Kenneth. Vera's mother absolutely loved fashion as much as Vera. He even attributes everything to his mother. Even though Vera's father owned a company worth millions of dollars, her parents still taught their children how to earn money for themselves. They were not given any special treatment regarding athletics or academics. Vera had to work hard... in the middle of the paper... or say in the process. There were times when Vera felt dissatisfied with her marriage. After all, she never really wanted to get married. She always thought she would become a fashion nun like previous generations. Fashion nuns were fashionistas who never married and simply went on with their lives, eating, sleeping and breathing clothes. So, after numerous encouraging conversations with her friends, Vera decided to get married. However, Vera Wang announced that the couple separated amicably in July 2012. There is no clear reason why the couple wanted a divorce, but rumors say that Becker was tired of being known only as “Mr. Vera Wang” even though he managed Vera's business and helped her for 23 years when she was in trouble.
