Robert Klitzman expresses a woman's concern about what to do with genetic engineering because he "feared he would play God" (Klitzman 1). The Bible says, “for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them,” Ephesians 2:10. By creating these embryos, scientists are not doing “good works,” especially when they destroy unwanted embryos and kill innocent children. They are sinning in two ways, first by trying to take God away from our creator and second by aborting and killing embryos that they decided were not good enough. Murder is murder, whatever the circumstances. Genesis 9:6 says, “whoever sheds the blood of man, his blood shall be shed by man, for in the image of God he made man,” clearly stating that God created man and no man should ever kill another man . Although religion only applies to certain people, any procedure that involves killing affects everyone, including other children
