Both black lives matter and the feminist movement is about equality for all. Both movements want to enlighten people about inequality in our society. The occupied movement focused on wealth inequality. When talking about this movement, the homeless are rarely included. In “Less than Human”, Tony shares what society thinks of him based on the actions he has received, “they think we have no rights and everyone has rights”. People treat him as if he has no rights, yet there is no movement towards reform. Another group that has no rights are prisoners. Although little has been done, most politicians talk about prison reform. A politician wants re-election. It does so at least by pretending to listen to its voters. Every movement must be seen by the public. Listening to the question, this is how the reform will happen. Without knowing the problem, how can you help? Without knowing the law that prevents feeding the homeless, how can people know how to change it? In every movement the first part is knowledge of the problem. You cannot support a reform without knowing what to reform. There is no hashtag on Twitter for homeless rights. There can be no change without awareness. This is how activism comes into play. I'm helping raise awareness of the issue. If I share the problem with the 28 service-oriented students, they can share it
