Climate Change and Sustainable Development This research paper is about climate change with the concept of sustainable development, which means it will address the problem of climate change in an economical way and try to solve it with the new growth theory. New growth theory argues that innovations, population growth, new technologies and creative destruction are linked together and that these connections will solve the problem of climate change. The exponential growth of technology, the improvement of international private rights and the better use of human capital are some of the key terms on which the theory is based. The most important thing for the solution is human capital. The improvement of human capital will lead to greater efficiency of the industry and therefore to an improvement in respect for the environment. The government plays an important role even if market regulations are minimal. The government's job is to create a good business climate with attractive incentives. These incentives and good private property rights will help create this business climate and new innovations will emerge. The biggest obstacle to planning is the theory itself. An example of this is the neoliberal revolution that occurred in Argentina in the period 1989-1999, when Carlos Menem was president of the country. His neoliberal and market liberal policy, which is one of the cornerstones of the new growth theory, achieved great victories in the early 1990s, but when the economy began to slow down and unemployment exploded, the problems have doubled. To avoid this type of market overheating, business leaders and politicians needed to be accountable for their decisions. If these people can take responsibility for the markets, the markets will repair themselves and so will the paper production of fusion power plants when the technology reaches a certain level. This level will be achieved with free markets and patent rights, which will create incentives for scientists to innovate. It is hoped that countries in the future will find cooperative relationships with each other and solve environmental problems. Works CitedClimate Central (many authors) Global Weirdness. May 7, 2013.
