Infection control will continue to be a topic of discussion as long as germ transmission continues to occur. Among these studies is the concern that frequent nonadherence to contact precautions is a huge problem that many studies are still very concerned about (Jessee & Mion, 2013, p. 966). The author is also concerned about the blatant disregard for hand hygiene that appears to occur in the medical field. And what is best for the patient? People who don't use proper hand hygiene don't understand how important it is
