If someone were asked to hold a baby in one hand and a petri dish in the other, but had to drop one, what would they drop? Most people would drop the Petri dish without thinking twice, but what if I said there is an embryo on the Petri dish? Does this change what they would drop? Ok, now let's get rid of the child and put a future in their place: finish high school and go to college, find love, travel the world and get a nice job before settling down and living comfortably for the rest of their lives . I hope most people drop the petri dish anyway, but what I find sad is that a good portion of people don't drop it. Although the medicine is covered by most insurance plans, it can be difficult to obtain for people who cannot afford a medical test or for those who are not allowed to do so by their family or partner. Most people who need contraception or have access to abortion are married people or already have children. In fact, approximately 60% of all people who have abortions already have one or more children (abortion in the United States). If birth control is so easy to get why don't people go get some?
