I started reading the back, trying not to bend any of the corners, and found that it was starting to intrigue me. Not only did the pastel Easter colors of all the books catch my attention, but also the fact that the collection is about a red-haired orphan named Anne, Anne of Green Gables. This was the first novel I ever took a close look at, let alone one that was actually written for someone my age! I couldn't stop reading each book, I continued reading the back of each book in the collection and came to the conclusion that I wanted to know more
