The National Football League (NFL) has been a staple in Sunday homes in America for some quiet time. It provides excitement and generates billions of dollars, but what I told you is that this league could lose viewers or not even exist in a few years. The NFL is a great brand, but what potentially goes up against it could leave you scratching your head as a parent to even let your child take a picture early in their football career if you don't take care. Sports entity brand/reputation: The National The Football League is made up of 32 teams founded in 1920 by a group of people who helped form the league. At the beginning the championship was not structured like it is now. The teams will just play and no playoff games, seeding or the game itself will matter because not only has the game been overshadowed by American baseball of the past, but it has been difficult because the college game has also been established. Owning a team was extremely difficult because the owner spent large amounts of money and engaged in bidding wars for players. Fast forward to the present day, it's safe to say that the NFL might be the most brutal and exciting game to play. The rules and norms are intact so that teams can do more ethical things. Money is what really drives this business and of course constant advertising to promote your brand. With some of this revenue, the NFL opened a program called NFL: Play 60. The purpose of this program is to encourage children to be physically active for 60 minutes a day to reduce American childhood obesity. The NFL was successful because in 2010 first lady Michelle Obama announced that she would partner with NFL PLAY 60 as a health initiative for children. This was a great move for the brand because the First Lady's office and... center of paper......Comment on the future brand image of the sporting entity:After carefully evaluating the positive and negative aspects that impact the sporting entity, The NFL is indeed by far in a difficult position. More and more players are continually being diagnosed, and the worst part is that in order to solve the problem of retired players being exposed to this disease, the league must fix its current game. Roger Goodell is in a difficult position because, as Bernard stated, if you practice the "safety rule" nowadays, defensive players will be more worried about getting fined than playing for their respective team. The game will lose integrity. The NFL has to find a way to manage everything because yes, the older players are hurting, the current players are unhappy, but what will happen when the parents move away from football? The NFL may see the last snap.
