I found this movie to be a good tool for people entering the criminal justice field. I think it's important that people entering this field or already working in it understand the importance of racial bias. The exercise in the video that was used where they changed what the young man was wearing was very enlightening. Trained professionals characterized the same person drastically differently based on their appearance. I found this to be the most powerful part of the video and it made me understand better how important it is to not judge someone based on their appearance. It is not just relevant in the juvenile system. People in the adult system are also characterized by their appearance. I think the exercise used in the film for minors would also be useful for people who deal with adults
