Creating a Music Questionnaire The task: · My task is to research the music industry and then create a questionnaire to find out what kind of music people listen to. I will then need to record the results and create some sort of interpretation of the data to see if the results match my hypothesis. Hypothesis: 1. Most 11th graders listen to drums and bass.2. Year 11 spends more money on music than Year 7.3. New Metal/Grunge music is the most unpopular music genre at school. · I think most people in year 11 listen to drum and bass because it is now a popular and growing style of music and is becoming a dominant music genre. · I think that Year 11s spend more money on music than Year 7s because Year 11s have grown up loving music more. Year 7 students are more interested in technology than music. · I think New Metal/Grunge music is the most unpopular style of music in school because no one really likes that style of music unless they like being called names and the music is pretty heavy to listen to too. It's too hard on the ears. Introduction: · We as a group have decided who should be within our group by thinking about who are the hardest workers and who would actually like to do the work. The three of us (Barry Boston, James Bolton and Minesh Patel) are also friends so we knew we would get along. We thought this would be the perfect combination; with hard work and people who get along and understand each other. · We immediately started working on the courses. We all started by creating our own questionnaires and collecting our own data. Then we created our results tables. · I chose all the music we used in our questionnaire by researching all the most popular musical styles and then selecting
