Health care is one of the absolute biggest problems in our economy, but it is very helpful to the people in our economy. Access to affordable healthcare is very important because it improves people's lives and health by providing them timely medical care. Not being insured is in no way beneficial. It doesn't provide even half of the needed benefits. Health care offers protection from unpredictable problems that may arise in your life. Everyone's life is delicate and anything can happen in the life we live today. Healthcare is very important for many reasons, but it wasn't even mentioned during the 2008 presidential campaign. Healthcare is a human right and is an organization committed to bringing holistic wellness care to everyone, regardless of their socio-economic status. Everyone has the right to health, including healthcare, according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Healthcare is a public good, not a commodity. Health care hurts our economy because of the skyrocketing price per capita and the struggle to earn it, but it seriously helps people's health and their lives. One area of health care is the rising cost of insuring the elderly and other critical illnesses. A large percentage of the healthcare budget is made up of 65 people with chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. (NBC) Theodore Roosevelt once said, “We pledge ourselves to work unceasingly in the State and the Nation for the protection of home life against the hazards of disease, irregular employment, and old age through the adoption of a system of social insurance adapted to the use American". (History) Already in those times we had the absolute right to health. Each year, the United States spends approximately 16% of its GDP on health care; the next highest you spend...... middle of the card...... in many ways, positive and negative, but the scale tips more towards the negative. Let's hope that things change and that healthcare is no longer the root cause of our debt. Until then, the United States will have debt and medical problems for years and years to come. Works Cited1.
