IntroductionEnvironmental health has been a very important issue to talk about internationally these days. We humans are unconsciously pushing the earth towards its limit. We are using natural resources more than we give to Mother Nature. Day after day, people are aware of the damage they cause to the environment, but they do not bother to remedy this damage. With a very simple step the journey towards a healthier environment will begin; recycling is the best idea that illustrates the previous point. For Andrew Roper, recycling is the conversion of waste products into new materials, such as waste paper that can be converted into new paper products (nd). There are many types of recycling, for example the recycling of glass, paper, metals, plastics, textiles and electronics (Evans, 2011). This research will focus on paper recycling in the UAE, the benefits of recycling and its effects on the environment, the difficulties of recycling, the process of paper recycling and the final products of recycling. The challenges of paper recycling: Recycling is a fantastic way to reuse the waste we once throw away. Yet, not everything is easy to do in this world. There are many difficulties that the recycling process faces on an economic and social level. Usually, to recycle, waste paper must be sorted and treated from any impurities. This means that companies will lose funding because there has to be someone or something that can sort or process these documents. Another problem is that to start recycling, companies need a lot of good recyclable supply to collect it; after all, they need good economic benefits (Problems with Recycling, 2014).
