Dear friends, I cannot stress enough how vital it is to remain diligent in our personal studies of God's Word. It does not matter who is teaching in the pulpit. It is our responsibility to ensure that what we are fed, our spiritual food, which I affectionately call “soul food”; is supported by the texts inspired by the Holy Spirit."Then, my dears, as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but even more now in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you , both to will and to work for His good pleasure." Philippians 2:12 & 13 NASNumber 5. “Jesus died a spiritual death when he was judged in our place for our sins.” This was all the heresy I could tolerate reading. I hope that enough has been provided in this example to cite the errors and that I have provided enough good Scripture to dispel the lies. If there is anything you have read in this book that you feel is not validated (especially biblical ones), please send me any comments or questions you may have at the email address I will provide at the end of this book. It is a fact that there is only one who is perfect and that is Christ. If you see any errors, on my part it's because I'm human, not because of anything intentional. God forbid! Now, why would a preacher teach something so misleading, whether intentionally or not? There could be several reasons. 1. He's an impostor. 2. He does not have the gift of a shepherd. 3. He was taught these same heresies by his pastor or seminary and blindly swallowed the teaching the same way his congregation swallows the same poison, never taking the time to compare the teaching with the Scriptures. 4. He never took personal scripture study seriously. Regardless of the reason... middle of the paper... ing. Therefore, according to Scripture, it is a heretical and demonic doctrine. “But the Spirit expressly says that in the last times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,” 2 Timothy 4:1 NAS. I hope and pray that you don't take my word for it at all. Please, in the name of Christ Jesus, search the Scriptures for yourself. "The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas to Berea by night, and when they arrived they entered the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble-minded than those of Thessalonica, for they received the word with great enthusiasm, examining the Scriptures every day to see whether so it was." Acts 17:10,11.
