To be healthy you have to have four disturbing ingredients. These four things are eating healthy and in the right amount, exercising regularly, sleeping well and taking the right nutritious vitamins. A child aged two to eight needs the same four disorders to be healthy. The only difference is that they need a different amount of each than an adult. They should consume the recommended dose in each food group corresponding to their age and gender indicated in the Canadian food guide. They also have to go on daily hikes, with lots of sleep. The National Sleep Foundation recommends that children ages one to five get 11 to 14 hours of sleep each night (National Sleep Foundation, n.d.). They also need to get the right nutritional vitamins to help them grow. A good way to achieve this is to baste heterogeneous vitamins with a child. I will inspect the food intake that a child in kindergarten consumes each day to see if it meets the recommendations set forth by the Canadian Food Guide. Study their strengths and weaknesses and how to improve them. Austin is a four year old boy; He still needs a nap every afternoon. He will sleep three hours a day and sleep 10 hours at night. Austin has been diagnosed with chronic constipation since birth, despite following the Canadian dietary guide, he still battles this problem. I believe Austin is at a healthy weight for his age. Austin doesn't have good eating habits, he's very picky about what he eats. I also think he looks like food. “This is part of normal development and should be handled nonchalantly. By continuing to offer a variety of foods at mealtimes and snacks, most children will eventually begin to accept other foods again.” (Pimento & Kernested, 2010, p. 2...... middle of paper ...... to be fed by those who care for him, but have not learned why he is eating these healthful foods. Teaching him why he is eating and encouraging him to eat this way will help him pursue health on his own. Austin is not always as active as a four year old should be, involving him in a group sport would help him become more active, become more social and having more opportunities for new experiences and learning. Becoming more active can also help his chronic constipation. Another thing that could help this problem is for Austin to drink more water every day. Everyone needs the same four ingredients to be healthy ingredients are eating healthy and in the right amount, exercising regularly, sleeping well and taking the right nutritious vitamins. Each person's age and gender are a factor that determines the amount of everything you need to consume in a day.
