This essay will explain the concept of market forces and show how it can be visualized in the Dubai market, thus providing an answer to the research question: “To what extent do market forces determine the price of rental housing in Dubai?” Large price differences can be identified between two similar houses, keeping the square meters and housing type relatively constant. However, the key factor causing these price differences is the concept of supply and demand, for reasons such as location.
