Topic > Ghost in Hamlet: 'King Hamlet's Ghost' - 1040

The ghost was evil. The ghost did not show up after Hamlet killed Polonius and left Hamlet to suffer all alone. He again offered no guidance or comfort, only the order to kill Claudius. If the ghost was actually his father, he would be trying to help him. His actions caused a series of actions through Hamlet which lead to a series of deaths including his own and the great tragedy that is Hamlet. He was just a puppeteer who held Hamlet's strings and brought his evil deeds into play.
