In an effort to encourage and assist local students at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Fort Worth, Texas, the law offices of Eberstein & Witherite have chosen to establish a scholarship fund scholarships designed to provide financial assistance to deserving graduating students. Initially the scholarship was supposed to be awarded to just 2 lucky students. However, after taking part in the review committee, Amy Witherite, one of the law firm's partners, was impressed by what she saw and what she saw. In fact, Amy was so impressed after meeting and speaking with each of the students, that instead of sticking to the original plan of offering 2 scholarships, she decided that each of the 9 nominated students should be offered one scholarship. Each of the scholarships offered by Eberstein & Witherite is worth $1,000.
