In today's world, politics has become the center of people's daily lives. This is what is discussed at the table, how citizens will choose which schools to attend and health insurance. It is also how differences come together and decide what is moral or not in society. First world nations are distinguished from the rest of the world by having better systems of government, freedom of expression, and the freedom to participate in politics. To understand the governance of a country and evaluate the credibility of those who govern, it is equally important to compare the results of political decision-making, social services and levels of control with those of other nations. Through research conducted on news articles, the analysis will demonstrate the difficulties of decision making due to the influence of popular belief and the portrayal of control by executive political figures. The United States of America is the most powerful political nation in the world, yet there is much struggle when it comes to making political decisions about what is best for the American people. In recent times, for a long time, health care has been the difficult economic political issue facing Democratic political leaders. “Today we have 50 million people without health insurance, about 40 million are underinsured.” (Forbes.com) The author of a Forbes magazine article uses statistics to describe how health policies have affected US citizens. The question starts with expenses. Health insurance companies spend a lot of money to cover patients' medical procedures, especially major treatments.
