The technology used in education has only come into full force a couple of years ago. There is a tremendous amount of positive outcomes that can occur in future years thanks to technology in classrooms. This is a great advantage because smartphones today include instant ways of communicating and information. The three authors, John-Harmen Valk, Ahmed T. Rashid and Laurent Elder of "Using Mobile Phones to Improve Educational Outcomes: An Analysis of Evidence from Asia" find that the use of technology in the classroom actually increases test scores (Elder ). In the journal article the authors include case studies where they investigated the effectiveness of learning through technology and how it helped them do great things with their knowledge. It's important for people to realize this and learn that technology has changed the way people approach life. However, in the end, this has no dramatic negative effects due to the benefit that technology has brought to today's society
