My favorite sport is association football, better known as soccer, it is the most popular sport in the world that requires few elements to play and is highly acclaimed. It is played all over the world in many countries and has a large number of fans. It consists of eleven players on each side of the pitch, who try to get the ball into the opponent's goal by crossing the team on the counterattack by maneuvering the ball or performing a series of passes to reach the goal and score. Famous teams and players are widely recognized around the world and most of them play tournaments, the best of which are the FIFA World Cup for national teams and the UEFA Champions League for club championships. Soccer in the United States is not very popular, and has recently been conceived as a professional sport, with its largest league, Major League Soccer. In my home country, Ecuador, football is the most popular sport and often causes exuberance among people. The origins of football come from the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, where the games were similar to those known today as soccer. With the rules and foundations of the sport set in England, it became a sport known as association football. It is the most watched sport in the world, from people rushing to the stadium, to people tuning their TV to the game. It is played by millions of people, from children to professionals. Its main element to play is the ball; made of leather, that's why the most accessible sport is for middle class or lower class people. People follow this sport with the passion and love you feel when you are in the stadium cheering for the team. Football has a series of rules that must be respected in order to play. The game begins on a rectangular grass-like field divided by a central white line and surrounded by a white border......in the center of the card......the original sport is football, and everyone shares the passion for sport that is contagiously so strong. People follow their team in the championship and are there even if the team loses or wins. When our national team has the chance to qualify for the World Cup, it creates an incredible euphoria among the people. It's so satisfying that your team is earning a spot in the big leagues. In conclusion, football is the people's sport, because there are no special requirements for a normal person to play it, only passion and love for the sport. It keeps you in great shape and also improves your mental abilities to analyze different movements.
