However on a scale of one to ten it would be more prudent to consider agreeableness as the best trait that may be needed for an officer to be able to interact positively. This trait will allow you to be friendly, tactful and warm towards challenges you may face and as such consider the interests of others before your own interests. These people have a great interest in improving social harmony by being friendly, thoughtful, helpful and generous towards others. Regarding the above descriptions, I would propose that when hiring a police officer you take cognitive skills and abilities into consideration. It is through cognitive skills that justice agencies are able to ensure better services from the police officer because it is realistic that cognitive skills will have better results and performance. Therefore the argument put forward by the hiring police department as the basis for disqualifying and excluding suitable candidates for the officer position is not valid at all.
