On Thursday, September 15, four texts under the individual level of analysis regarding sex, gender and war were examined by different angels, including political arenas, social implications and historical realism concerning the intent of the predictions and future possibilities. Texts used to analyze the topic include Betty Reardon's work, "Sexism and the War System", Carol Cohn's article, "Sex and Death in the Rational World of Defense Intellectuals" followed by two articles, one of which it is the work of Francis Fukuyama. entitled “Women and the Evolution of World Politics” and the second a response to Fukuyama's argument by Ann Tickner, “Why Women Cannot Rule the World: International Politics According to Francis Fukuyama”. InFukuyama poses the aggression and violence under the rule of men, as written in their generic code, as opposed to women; and proposes that, although the policy is not inherently favorable to women, it allows them to be feminized to decrease threats of aggression and minimize war. He then goes on to explain his division of the world into two main parts; the authoritarian South and the democratic North and are further divided into three main demographic trends that comprise his predictions about future international relations. Demographic trends include fertility rates that generate an overwhelming older population with a bias toward female candidates; the rise in popularity of small family norms in developed countries has resulted in a more disturbing generation of military casualties and high abortion rates in countries of the South, with the risk of Saddam's leaders coming to power, posing a possible threat that will not can be
