No one would expect musicians to pick up an instrument and play it without being taught how to play it. They are taught to play the instrument and invest countless hours before this experience is achieved. Without knowing it, it's easy to jump to conclusions and assume that they were always this good through and through. If you have a goal and feel like you don't have the talent to achieve it, believe it or not, you already have the skills needed to achieve it.
