When a political science major in Washington DC or something related to it usually comes up in class. It has been a personal dream to go there, but recently it has become an aspiration to go and work there. In any field, it can be difficult to find a job to jump-start your career. The “real world” is known as after college for most people. As for the post-college reality, I tried to make it as painless as possible, but at the same time ensure that it reached its full potential in terms of success. The reason I am interested in interning in DC is that it would be a great experience, it would help me develop new skills and it would be the perfect start to my career. I think participating in the internship in DC would be a fantastic experience because it would be new and exciting. Personally it would be good for me because I could learn to be more independent. The internship can also help me grow as a professional. The new skills that the DC program can provide may be crucial to a career change in the future. Also, I think having an internship in DC on your resume can really help you stand out. I think interning in DC can help me reach my full potential before I graduate. Furthermore, I truly believe that interning in DC can help me demonstrate to any future employers, professors or mentors that I have the right intention in mind. My intention before entering the “real world” is to demonstrate that I have a good work ethic and that what I have to offer to the world is very important to me. Internship in DC can help me improve my skills/abilities in professionalism, because I can learn how everything should be done in the most professional way. When it comes to professionalism, I know how to send emails, dress, be on time etc. I believe that the internship can introduce me to new professional rules and
