Once a child finishes secondary (middle) school, he or she must take a qualifying test called "CXC" to determine which high school he or she will be able to attend. Everything from textbooks to school uniforms must be paid for out of pocket by the students' guardian, so even then, some children don't finish school or others fall behind because they don't have the means to continue school all at once . . Both Jamaica and the United States have their strengths, but in terms of where it is best to raise a child, the United States is the best candidate. Good government is the key to having a successful country, and the United States has it. The healthcare system is much more reasonable and allows many more people to be covered. Furthermore, the education system is exceptional. So, to ensure that a child grows up in the best possible environment with the best possible access to the resources he or she may need throughout his or her life, he or she should be raised in a stable country like the United States of America.
