Isn't it strange how women have been around for millions of years, but are only recently getting the same rights as men? This is a question many feminists ask. Our lives, careers, education, and more have suffered because of the stereotype that women are not as smart, strong, or ethical as men. This is a lie. Every day, women continue to prove how capable they are of doing everything men can do. You might think that feminism is all about women thinking they are superior to men, but it's actually about women working to balance the rights between the two genders. However, in the world of feminism there are more serious problems than simple stereotypes. Domestic violence, body image, body shaming and rape culture/sexual violence, to name a few, are some of the major issues women face on a daily basis.
