During this course I learned a lot about the arts and how they came to be. I also have to find a lot of new art that I've really started to appreciate. Although art over the years has had many important differences in style, technique, themes, and so on. there are also many similarities between works of art and in all artistic movements throughout history. Throughout my article I will discuss two works of art from different art movements and their similarities and differences. One work of art that really piqued my interest was "The Swing", also known as "Happy Accidents of the Swing", it was painted in 1767 by a famous French artist known as Jean-Honore Fragonard. Painted during the mid-18th century, it was considered one of the most successful masterpieces of the Rococo era. "The Swing", was painted in London and was part of the Wallace Collection, is 81 cm high and 64.2 cm wide.
