This article attempts to discuss the kind of similarities and differences prevalent in the primary teachings of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi. This is related to the types of doctrines on the Dao, Ziran which promoted spontaneity and naturalness, wu wei which promoted non-action, human society, and some other philosophical issues. What Daoism looked like and how the doctrines were related to each other is explained in great detail. It tries to explain how the religion advanced by Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi was actually practiced. Daoism generally features a basic premise that actually grew over a 200-300 year time period. The term Dao is used to mean the way in Chinese. Daoism is about correct ways in life. There are people who were associated with it in the early days. I am; Yang Zhu (c. 400 BC), Lao Zi (c. 6th century BC or 4th century BC), and Zhuang Zi (c. 369-286 BC). Daoism equally had a similarity and did not agree with Confucian teachings. He also recognized the frank essence of the world and maintained an affirmative outlook towards this universe. They also avoided wise and active pursuits in the world and totally opposed the Confucian goals of restoring the old social order. This was not because they hated the old order. It was because they were against any artificially created social order. Wu wei is a doctrine that actually promotes non-action. It is a vital concept of Lao Zi. The concept of wu wei is also very multifaceted and replicated in the expressions “multiple meanings”. Also in the English version; can connote "do nothing", "do not force", "do not act" in a melodramatic sense, "generate nothing", act impulsively" and move in the moment.
