Topic > Does morality limit religion? - 1673

I think they feel comfortable, because from an early age people take their children to church and introduce them to their faith rather than letting the child decide when they are old enough to understand what religion is and whether or not they want to be a part of any kind of religion. It makes me think about how people force their religion on their children and the children don't know that this might be something they don't want. Those who grow up in religious families, however, think this is something normal. I'm not saying it's not normal to be part of a religion. I'm saying they might think it's normal because it's something that's so familiar to them, because they've been used to it for most of their lives. Therefore, this makes them feel comfortable with their religion and are a part of it. This is why I said that it might be desirable for someone's rules and morals to depend on religion, because it is something that is familiar and comfortable to them.
