There are many things that families do to prepare for the holidays. These things are usually a tradition in every single family. My family has three main traditions that we do every year for the holidays. One of our traditions is to go out on Black Friday to shop for gifts. It normally starts the Friday after Thanksgiving and we shop all weekend. Another tradition we have is decorating for Christmas the day after we finish our Black Friday shopping. Our latest tradition is to bake all the cookies and different treats and also prep things to cook for Christmas dinner. Black Friday is the busiest and craziest shopping day of the year. Shopping on Black Friday has become a great tradition in our family. This tradition started about 5 years ago and we have been doing it ever since. It's something we enjoy doing as a family. On Thanksgiving we start by getting sales ads in the newspaper and examining them to see which stores have the best sales and which have the items we are looking for.
