Only the term Allied Health Management seems confusing to me. I look at those words and have to wonder what kind of jobs fall under that title and what role customer service will play in my career. Searching for a job title and the details involved in that job title was complicated. Just searching for medical and health services managers showed 112 example job titles that fit that list. If I hadn't been worried before seeing that number, I would have entered a worry phase. I was wondering how I know which field would be right for me when I'm just trying to go to school. I don't want to focus too much on the future when I'm worried about taking an accounting class for the first time. I know I have to do it, though, because I have to set a goal for the future to see what I can achieve at the end of all the hard work I'm doing now. According to BLS, employment in the medical and healthcare industry is expected to grow 16 percent from 2008 to 2013 faster than average. BLS as of 2011 has shown that the average salary appears to be $45.86, however those starting out in this field can see an hourly wage of $27/hour. and up to $69/hour. Each year those starting out can see up to $56,500 per year. and up to $142,670/year. With this information in hand I went ahead and took a look at those 112 job titles to find the ones that interested me, and I found a few that I'd like to look into further. Some jobs will obviously require more education, but of those that suit my qualifications those jobs will have me using the skills I have learned in this course.
