The main areas of my values and ethics can be summarized in six words: excellence, personal integrity, responsibility, ambition, responsibility and determination. Excellence guides me in setting goals in all my endeavors; Normally I try to get the most. Personal integrity and responsibility allow me to make sound judgments to avoid taking actions that will harm me and/or others around me. Accountability is important to me as it allows me to identify the role I need to play in my family, workplace and community. Finally, ambition and determination are applicable in providing me with the necessary momentum to ensure that all my initiatives and tasks are completed. My ethics and values develop from my religious beliefs, my associations with professionals, and my personal experiences. My religion establishes values such as honesty, courtesy and determination, which determine how I treat other people. My association with professionals helps me embrace values, such as determination, personal integrity, responsibility and excellence, which are fundamental in designing my academic and professional paths. The experiences I have encountered in life have taught me to observe and embrace many ethical values, including ambition, integrity and responsibility, which allow me to associate well with my family and other members of society. My personal code of ethics outlines the values and principles I believe in and rely on in life; the code determines the decisions I make about my daily activities and my relationship with family, colleagues and society. Values and principles also serve as my main point of reference when I am faced with a dilemma and need to make a good statement...... middle of paper ...... for my family and company more than I get from them. A personal code of ethics involves written ideas and beliefs that guide a person on how he or she should behave and relate to family, colleagues, and society at large. My personal code of ethics serves as a basis for distinguishing good actions from bad ones and helps me determine the right emotions and actions to engage in. My family, friends and society play an important role in developing my personal principles and values, including excellence, integrity, responsibility, ambition, respect for family, responsibility and determination. Values allow me to associate well with my family, colleagues, friends and society. This article details my personal code of ethics and compares it to the United Nations (UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the NASWA Code of Ethics.
